Yosemite

Welcome to Yosemite!

Located in eastern California, this park offers its visitors some amazing sights all near the Yosemite Valley. You can walk towards Bridal Vale Falls the only water fall in the park to flow all year pouring water from a hight of 620 feet above the valley.

No matter what photos you see of Yosemite they'll never serve these mountains enough credit. As you walk along the valley, you can witness the true magnitude; they tower above you with their sharp cliffs and steep waterfalls.

Despite Yosemite Valley remaining the most popular section of the park, it would be a mistake not to mention the other main attractions of the park: Tuolumne Grove of the Giant Sequoias. Holding some of the oldest and tallest trees in the world, it's a must-see for anyone visiting the park. However, if you want to find the true show-stopper, look for the Grizzly Giant Tree. Estimated to be a little under 3,000 years old, this tree is likely the oldest in the world. The Grizzly Giant Tree also boasts an estimated volume of 34,000 cubic feet, making it the largest tree by volume in the world. These trees (s) are what inspired the administration under Abraham Lincon to turn the area into a park to begin with. Fun fact: the Grizzly Giant Tree can be found on the National Park Service's badge.
